The National Fair Housing Month celebrates the adoption of the Fair Housing Act, national law, which prohibits discrimination in sales, renting and financing of housing based on a race, color, national origin, religion and gender. The Act was adopted in 1968 and amended in 1988 to protect the protection of disabled people and families with children. During the conference, members of the Democratic Senate of the Club discussed the importance of protecting the progress made by the Act on a just apartment and discussed the ways of maintaining the pace at the state level, from zone reform to sealing eviction to the repair of our aging apartments to build more modern apartments.
