Republican Poll: Trump-Harris, Wild-Mackenzie in Lehigh Valley MOE

A fresh Republican poll of likely Lehigh Valley voters shows the presidential and congressional races are within the margin of error with less than 100 days left to go.

Tarrance Group of Alexandria, Virginia, surveyed 404 likely voters in Pennsylvania’s 7th congressional district and found that former President Donald Trump AND Vice President Kamala Harris the difference of two percentage points was +/-4.9. Trump received 48 percent support, while Harris received 46 percent in the survey co-commissioned by the Republican National Campaign Committee and the GOP nominee Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Lehigh).

The same poll found Mackenzie and the incumbent Democrat Susan Wild are also within the margin of error. Wild, who served the Washington region for three terms, received 47 percent support, while Mackenzie, a ninth-generation Lehigh Valley native, received 45 percent support and eight percent were undecided.

“The poll results indicate that Mackenzie still has a chance to increase support among those who voted for Donald Trump at the top of the ticket,” the pollsters wrote in a summary of the poll.

PoliticsPA notes that polls commissioned by election campaigns and released to media without additional information may be subject to error.
