The two candidates for the 10th Congressional District seat will meet for a debate in two weeks.
Six-term official Rep. Scott Perry and democratic opponent Janelle Stelson agreed to a 60-minute debate to be held on Tuesday, October 8, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the WHTM-TV studios in (*8*).
The debate will be led by the presenter of abc27 News Dennis Owenswhich will ask candidates questions about current local and regional issues affecting the 10th Congressional District.
Perry faces stern danger from Stelson, a former television journalist who receives support from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) under its Red-to-Blue program.
Cook Political Report rates the PA-10 race as “slightly Republican,” meaning the race is considered close but with one party holding an advantage.
There are fewer than 530,000 voters in the central Pennsylvania congressional district, which includes Cumberland, Dauphin and York counties.
The irony is that October 8 is the birthdate of both candidates.
