1. Senate approves $70 billion immigration bill after rejecting efforts to permanently ban Trump settlement fund
“The Senate passed the financing bill President Donald Trump immigration enforcement agencies early Friday morning, after weeks of delays and fierce opposition to an unrelated $1.776 billion settlement fund that threatened to derail the bill.
Senators voted 52-47 to approve a $70 billion bill to fund Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol for the next three years.
The final vote came just before 5 a.m. after Republicans narrowly defeated repeated attempts by members of both parties to add language to the bill that would permanently ban the operate of Trump’s settlement fund for allies who believe they have been politically persecuted.” | AP

The Knoebels Entertainment Center in Elysburg has been free of charge since it opened almost a century ago.
