1. Poll: Democrats maintain advantage in the fight for Congress, even though Trump receives indigent ratings

President Donald Trump His feeble approval rating continues to weigh on his party heading into a second term, even though the GOP is within striking distance of the president and Democrats have a 5-point lead in the fight for control of Congress, according to a fresh NBC News national poll.

The poll – sponsored by More Perfect, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing democracy – found that 49% of registered voters say they prefer Democrats to control Congress in this year’s elections, compared with 44% who prefer Republican control and 7% who are unsure.’ | NBC News

5. Thousands of people gather to watch the world’s largest working steam train

“Big Boy #4014 did not disappoint during his visit to the area on Saturday morning.

A million-pound Union Pacific steam locomotive received an enthusiastic reception as it passed over the iconic Tunkhannock Viaduct.
