Will there be tickets available for the presidential debate at the National Constitutional Center?

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will debate next month in Philadelphia at the National Constitution Center, hosted by ABC News, the network announced Friday.

It all takes place on September 10 at 9:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ABC, ABC News Live, Disney+ and Hulu. World news tonight Editor-in-Chief and Presenter David Muir and World news tonight Sunday’s show will be moderated by Linsey Davis, the show’s presenter.

Want to go to the debate? There are currently few details available for those who would like to attend.

The ABC did not say whether there would be an audience at the debate, nor did it provide information on how people would be able to participate.

ABC News did not respond to a request for comment. The National Constitution Center said ABC News will determine whether there will be an audience and how people can participate.

It’s possible the Philadelphia debate will have no audience. When Trump and President Joe Biden debated in Atlanta in June on CNN, there was no live audience, marking the first presidential debate without an audience since 1960, The New York Times reported thatwhen John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon participated in the first televised debates.

Biden’s volatile performance at the June debate was heavily criticized and ultimately contributed to his decision to drop out of the presidential race last month. The same day Biden announced he would not seek reelection, he endorsed Harris as the Democratic nominee, and she formally secured the nomination earlier this month.

Expect more information on how the debate unfolds in Philadelphia in the weeks leading up to September 10.

Meanwhile, the National Constitution Center has hosted similar high-profile events in the past, including hosting the 2008 Democratic primary debate between then-Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and hosting the ABC News Town Halls for Trump and Biden in 2020.

“We are honored to have been selected,” National Constitution Center President and CEO Jeffrey Rosen said in a statement Friday. “The mission of the National Constitution Center is to model civil dialogue… The presidential debates are a significant opportunity for all Americans to learn more about the principles that define American democracy.”
