Where to find freebies for Philadelphia voters on Election Day 2024

The tradition of rewarding voters for fulfilling their democratic duties returns this year with free latkes, cookies, donuts, frozen yogurt, beer and other treats.

Stop by these businesses and organizations on Election Day with an “I Voted” sticker (or in some cases, just tell them you voted) and pick up your refreshment.

Pizza for the ballot box

The nonpartisan nonprofit organization delivers free pizza to voters waiting in long lines to vote and hands out 1,500 slices throughout the day in Philadelphia.

Tuesday stops will include polling places at Bright Hope Baptist Church (1601 N. 12th St., 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.), South Philadelphia High School (2101 S. Broad St., 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.) and West Philadelphia High School (4901 Chestnut St., 4-5:30 p.m.). It will be too music, art installations, visits from Eagles cheerleaders and giveaways at three locations throughout the day.

Delicatessen is a classic meeting place for politicians on election day. Customers wearing the stickers are also thanked with a free serving of latkes (potato pancakes) or a cookie of their choice.

I love urban brewing

“Anyone who asks can get a free 10 oz. beer, but it would be nice if you voted too!” The city of love promises. They will also host an election party from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.: “It may be stressful, but it’s better than stressing out alone at home.”

FCM hospitality

Several FCM Hospitality restaurants and bars will offer free Mainstay beer to those with an “I Voted” sticker. These include Craft Hall, Harper’s Garden, Juno, Lola’s Garden, Lucy’s, Rosy’s Taco Bar, Rosy’s Taco Bar East and Walnut Garden.
