In their first statewide debate, Republican Dave Sunday and Democrat Eugene DePasquale faced off as they tried to convince Pennsylvania voters that they should be the state’s next attorney general.
DePasquale focused on his experience leading the state Auditor General’s office, where he conducted investigations, while Sunday focused on his experience as a prosecutor in York County.
Issues discussed between the two candidates included reducing gun violence, stopping the spread of threatening drugs and the growing problem of artificial intelligence.
