ohio Senator J.D. Vance announced on Thursday that he had accepted an invitation from CBS News to the vice presidential debate on October 1.

Presenter of “CBS Evening News” Norah O’Donnell AND Margaret Brennan According to the station, the moderator of the debate will be a representative of the “Face the Nation” station.
Vance also said he had accepted an invitation from CNN to the September 18 debate, but Harris’ campaign has not confirmed whether Walz will accept that invitation.
The American people deserve as many debates as possible, which is why President Trump has already challenged Kamala to three of them. Not only do I accept the CBS debate on October 1st, I also accept the CNN debate on September 18th. I can’t wait to see you both! https://t.co/63FyI99dKU

A second vice presidential debate seems unlikely, as the vice presidential candidates have debated only once in each of the last 10 presidential cycles.
Presidential Candidates – Democrats Kamala Harris and a republican Donald Trump – agreed to a debate on September 10 hosted by ABC News.
There has been speculation that the next debate could take place in Pennsylvania in September, with Harrisburg or Philadelphia being possible locations.
Fox News has scheduled a debate between Harris and Trump for September 4, and NBC News plans to air it on September 25.
