These are the states where social distancing is hardest to maintain – and where Pa. ranks | Tuesday morning coffee

Good morning Tuesday, dear seekers.

With more states moving toward reopening and Covid-19 infection rates still showing no signs of abating in some parts of the country, now seemed as good a time as any to take a closer look at why some states will continue seemingly a unsafe path with little public health benefit in return.

So we’re turning this morning for analysis via financial knowledge website, Hub Walletwhich compared all 50 states and Washington, D.C. on 13 indicators, including whether “residents have supportive relationships [and] how non-essential travel has changed due to the pandemic”, as well as “how much consumers spent on social activities before the pandemic”.

A look at the 10 states that are most and least successful when it comes to social distancing, along with Pennsylvania’s ranking, starts after the jump.

First, Pennsylvania was ranked 33rd Hub Wallet analyzes that suggest to us that this is one of those moments where Pennsylvania’s outcome could have been much, much worse.

With crowded Philadelphia and Pittsburgh taking reservations in the sprawling, rural middle of the Keystone State, it’s not as arduous for Pennsylvanians to maintain social distancing as it is in some other parts of the country. Although it must be admitted that it would be nice to be higher in the table.

Here then, according to Hub Wallet analysis. Here are the 10 states that are doing the best with social distancing:
1. Utah
2. New Hampshire
3. Montana
4. Colorado
5. Alaska
6. Massachusetts
7. Wyoming
8. Virginia
9. Idaho
10. South Dakota

And the 10 worst:
1. Alabama
2. Mississippi
3. West Virginia
4. Kentucky
5. Rhode Island
6.Arkansas
7. New Mexico
8. Oklahoma
9. Louisiana
10.Illinois

And for those of you playing at home, Florida, counterintuitively, finished 19th ahead of the Keystone State, which may not end these games in any way #FloridaMorons hashtags enabled Twitter.
