New York-Bed Senator USA Bob Menendez, aims to report to the Federal Prison on Tuesday to start an 11-year sentence for accepting gold and cash bribes and acting as an agent of Egypt. The Democrat in New Jersey was ridiculed for crimes as a “golden bar Bob”, according to his own lawyer.
Menendez’s lawyers revealed last month in court documents that it is expected to be located in an institution in Eastern Pennsylvania, which has both medium safety prison and a prison camp for minimal security. Given the nature of his crime, he will probably end up in the camp.

Prison, a federal prison institution, Schuylkill, is about 118 miles (190 kilometers) west of New York. Downloading a softening of punishment, Menendez told the judge during his sentence in January: “I am far from an excellent man. I committed more than participating in mistakes and bad decisions. I did much more than bad.”
Menendez also seemed to raise the pardon of President Donald Trump, adapting to the criticism of the Republican judicial system, especially in New York.
“This process is political and is corrupt to the core. I hope that President Trump will clean the cesspool and restore the system’s integrity,” Menendez told reporters after his January sentence.
Menendez gave up last year after he was convicted of selling his strength for bribes. FBI agents found $ 480,000 in cash in their home, some of them stuffed in shoes and pockets of the jacket, along with golden bars worth about $ 150,000 and a luxurious convertible in the garage.
In return, prosecutors said that Menendez had performed corrupt favors for company owners in New Jersey, including protecting them from criminal investigations, helping in business contracts with foreign powers and meeting with Egyptian intelligence officials before he helped Egypt to get Egypt $ 300 million in American military facilitate.
Menendez, who once served as the chairman of the Senate of the Commission of Foreign Relations, gave up the place a month after the conviction. He has been in the Senate since 2006.
Last year, two company owners were convicted of Menendez.

His wife, Nadine Menendez, was convicted in April for cooperation with her husband to accept bribes from business owners. Her judgment was established on September 11.
During the judgment, Menendez’s lawyers described how the son of Cuban immigrants emerged from poverty to become “the personification of American sleep” – the union city of Union City, New Jersey, arising from the mayor, New Jersey, until decades in Congress – before his conviction “made him a domestic punch.”
“Despite the decades of service, he is now widely known as Gold Bar Bob,” said judge lawyer Adam Fee.
