
Bucks County – June 4, 2025 -State Steve Santarsiero (D-10) yesterday welcomed two wrestlers of the State Champion from his district to capitol, Eren Sement from Newtown Township and Chase Williams from Buckingham Township.
“These two amazing athletes brought great pride to their schools and community,” said Santarsiero. “Both young men showed impressive talent as wrestlers and strong leadership skills, the features that they will serve when they continue their sports and academic career.”
Eren Sement is an older at Council Rock North High School and won the PIAA AAA 145 bracket, winning the title of Master of State. Eren will be at the autumn at the University of Michigan for a fight and plans to train throughout the year at Ann Arbor to create a US world team.
“Eren is a unique athlete and a young man who was proud of his school and community. I have no doubt that he will achieve great success in both wrestling and academic careers at the University of Michigan.”
Chase Williams was won by Bracket Piaa AAA 107, bringing home the title of Master of State to Central Bucks East High School. Chase is only the second state master in Wrestling in the 56 -year history of Central Bucks East, and the first since 1982. Chase tied the school record, winning 40 matches this season, as well as the first first year student in the history of East, who won the South -East Regional Tournament.
“Chase showed an amazing promise and achievements in his first wrestling year for Central Bucks East. I can’t wait for his wrestling career in high school and I would not be surprised that I soon saw him in the Capitol.”
The Santarsiero Senate welcomes the masters of wrestlers, Sement and Williams, the first Democrats in Pennsylvania appeared in Harrisburg.
