Shapiro will publish a memoir in early 2026, fueling presidential speculation

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro can now add the author to his CV as his memoir Where We Keep The Light will be published on January 27, 2026.

According to HarperCollins Publishers, “Josh Shapiro, a leading voice of the Democratic Party, shares touching stories about his family, faith and career in public service. From an early age, Shapiro learned and practiced the power of helping others, values ​​he lived out through successful campaigns for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Montgomery County Commissioner, Attorney General of Pennsylvania, and ultimately the governorship he held, won a decisive victory in 2022.”

The upcoming release fuels speculation that Shapiro still has future presidential hopes, as politicians’ books typically highlight their backgrounds, ideals and aspirations in anticipation of a White House bid.

Expect Shapiro to spend several weeks in February promoting his memoir, and the free media that will accompany the tour will unquestionably share his version of his album.

Shapiro, 52, is expected to announce in the coming weeks that he will seek a second term as Pennsylvania’s governor. He defeated the state Senator Doug Mastrian according to a recent Franklin & Marshall College poll, it gained 15 points in the 2022 general election and currently tops at a 51% job approval rate.
