Bucks County − November 13, 2024 − Today, the Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Caucus selected Senator Steve Santarsiero (D-10, Bucks) as a member of its 2025-2026 leadership team as Secretary. Santarsiero is the first Bucks County resident elected as Senate Democratic leader.
“I am honored to have the support of my fellow club members who serve as club secretary,” Santarsiero said. “I look forward to supporting issues that matter to Pennsylvanians like lowering housing costs, creating family-sustaining jobs and ensuring our communities are safe places to live, work and thrive.”
Senator Santarsiero served 10vol Senate district since first elected in 2018.
“I would like to congratulate the remaining members of our leadership team elected today, Leader Jay Costa, Appropriations Chair Vince Hughes, Whip Tina Tartaglione, Chair Maria Collett, Policy Chair Nick Miller and Administrator Judy Schwank,” Santarsiero added.
The 10th Senate District includes Bristol, Bristol Township, Buckingham Township, Chalfont Borough, Doylestown Borough, Doylestown Township, Falls Township, Lower Makefield Township, Morrisville Borough, New Britain Borough, New Britain Township, New Hope Borough, Newtown Borough, Newtown Township , Plumstead Township, Solebury Township, Tullytown Borough, Upper Makefield Township and Yardley Borough.
