This initiative will provide veterans and their families with key lend a hand, including lend a hand in navigation in survivors’ benefits, access to resources related to veterans and support for services related to services.
“These partnerships relate to honoring our commitment to those who served,” said Senator Pisciottano. “Too often veterans encounter unnecessary barriers to access to the benefits they have earned thanks to their service. Cooperating with VFW and the American Legion, we take a proactive approach that our veterans have the support needed.”
Thanks to this cooperation, representatives of the VFW and the American Legion will be available after prior agreement to lend a hand veterans navigate in the process of Veterans (VA) administration benefits, including assistance in access to survival and other critical lend a hand.
