Allentown, PA – June 13, 2025 – Today, Senator Nick Miller (D-Lehigh/Northampton), together with the club of boys and girls in Allentown and Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, organized the day of youth fishing in trout Li’l-le-Hi. This event provided adolescent students with the opportunity to have the opportunity to have fun, while gaining the necessary fishing skills.
“My goal was to offer students the opportunity to learn a new skill, while engaging adult mentors to lead them to the art of fishing,” ” Senator Miller said. “Today, students from the boys and girls’ club are learning how to break a hook, throw a line and safely roll up at the trout, thanks to our representatives from Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. I am proud of introducing these students to this environment and using mentoring to give such crucial ability to teach necessary skills.”
