Souderton, Pennsylvania − October 22, 2025 − On Friday, October 17 at Senator Maria Collett (D-12 Montgomery) hosted the annual Senior Services and Wellness Hub event at Generations of Indian Valley in Souderton, Pennsylvania.
“Ensuring Pennsylvanians have the opportunity to live and age with dignity is my highest priority as a registered nurse and Democratic chair of the Senate Committee on Aging and Youth.” Collett said. “Our goal with the Senior Hub event is to remove barriers and create a space where older adults can connect directly with the services and resources available to them and their families.”
During the event, more than 150 participants visited more than 20 providers, including social service providers, nonprofit organizations, health care providers and government agencies. Older adults signed up for free Senior SEPTA Fare Cards, found unclaimed property in the PA vault, had their blood sugar checked with DeSales University physical therapists, received seasonal vaccinations from Giant Pharmacy, and more. Participants enjoyed refreshments at the café sponsored by Senator Collett and a free meal at noon delivered by Generations.
We encourage community members who were unable to attend the Senior Hub event to call Senator Collett’s office at 215-368-1429 to learn more about the services her office can assist with.
