Norristown, PA – – September 3, 2025 -Sensator Amanda M. Cappelletti (D-17, Delaware/Montgomery) was excited to welcome over 400 community members at Zoo Elmwood Park on Tuesday, September 2 to her fifth annual children in the seventeenth.
Participants at all ages joined the event to learn about local resources from over 50 suppliers and local partners, enjoy dance performances and cheerleaders, relax with drinks and discovering the zoo.
“I am really waiting for this event every year. There is nothing better than meeting the community, providing connections with helpful resources and just enjoying company”, ” Senator Cappelletti said. “I am very grateful to our outstanding hosts in Elmwood Park Zoo, who make children possible, our generous sponsors, all of our suppliers and all our neighbors who joined us for a lovely evening.”
The children’s fair was free thanks to generous sponsors from Aqua, children’s hospital in Philadelphia, Comcast, Independence Blue Cross Blue Shield, Independence Historical Trust, Jefferson Einstein Hospital, Jefferson Golf Club, JP Mascaro & Son, Keystone first. Medicine, Skippack Pharmacy, Suburban Medical Group, Temple University, Villanova University and Walmart.
