SD-36: Jones announces the candidacy for the headquarters of the Lanco Senate

Rep. Tom Jones (R-LANCASTER/LIBGAN) He decided to try to move from the State Chamber to the State Senate.

Jones, 98. Representative of the Legislative District and was postponed in East Donegal Township, he threw his hat in the ring to compete for the republican nomination by 36th place in the Senators district, currently organized by the newly elected Democrats James Malone.

“It was an honor to serve my community as a representative of the state in the General Assembly of Pennsylvania,” said Jones. “I think that the inhabitants of Lancaster deserve a strong representation in the 36th district of the Senate and I can’t wait to get their support.”

In the announcement of the campaign, Jones emphasized his roots of Lancaster and his experience as the owner of a miniature company, saying that the state government affected families and businesses like his.

“I was born and raised in the district, and there are stories such as mine in all of all, people who work strenuous to fulfill their dreams and provide their family. This opportunity is what I fight. As the owner of a miniature company, I know what it means to be responsible in terms of tax and I know how to balance the hearty sense. This budget is miniature in Harrisburg.

“Due to the reckless expenses of the Governor Shapiro, we are in the face of a budget deficiency of $ 5 billion, which will probably cause higher taxes, which harms everyone in our community,” said Jones. “The future of our community of nations is threatened because we lose more and more youthful people and companies from other states because of the policy of killing Shapiro’s work and regulations.

Jones is currently in his second term in Harrisburg and can cause a sizzling basic one between him and the Lancaster Fountain Commissioner Josh Parsonswhich was defeated by Malone last spring in special elections to replace Ryan Aumement.

A member of Pennsylvania Freedom Caucus, Jones says that “Lancaster’s Ferry deserves a senator, who will represent our conservative values, fight for parents’ rights and the choice of school, facilitate the energy sector and Pa to raise our economy and undeniably defend our freedom and tolerateing American values.

“I am applying for the Senate to be in favor of the inhabitants of Lancaster, when we are fighting for the protection of our families and changing the pension in the right direction.”

Malone, a former mayor of the East St. Petersburg district, barely defeated the Parsons 526 votes in the county, which had not previously chosen democratics for the state senate since 1889.

36. The district covers part of the Lancaster Fountain Considing Cities of CONOY, Earl, East Donegal, East Hempfield, Elizabeth, Ephrata, Manheim, Mount Joy, Penn, Rapho, Warwick, West Donegal, West Earl and West Hempfield and Boroughs of Akron, Columbia, Columbia, Columbia, Columbia, St. Petersburg, Elizabethtown, Ephrata, Ephrat, Ephrat, Effrata, Ephrat, Ephrat.
