This is the Municipal Day of the Basic Election in Pennsylvania.
For many of you, there is not much, if at all, voting. Only the mayor, school council, city council, various court offices, district prosecutor … or when we like to think about it … people who really make decisions that affect your everyday life.
Others, mainly in larger cities of the community of nations, have the opportunity to choose candidates to represent their party for the Director of the County, Mayor, Judge or District Prosecutor in the November election.
Some of you are completely cut off because registered independent and third party members do not qualify for voting for republican and democratic candidates in the closed basic system of our state.
