The District Prosecutor in Philadelphia, Larry Krasner, emits his first television advertising from less than three weeks to the day of election, double his efforts to introduce himself as the main opponent of President Donald Trump.
Advertisement, which is to start broadcasting this week in cable networks and streaming services throughout the city, both advertise the inheritance of the murder indicator in the city and aims to nationalize the local race.
“I stood in Philadelphia for seven years,” says Krasner in advertising, walking around the districts of Philadelphia. “Some people do not like it. Donald Trump and his billionaire buddies, shooting groups and a lobby of weapons, an old system that refused justice for too long.”
Then he repeats what has become a slogan of the campaign: “They can come after Philly, but I don’t withdraw. They can F and find out.”
ADVERTISING is a critical moment for Krasner’s campaign before the election of May 20, when he tries to repel the democratic pretender Patrick Dugan, a former judge. While Krasner’s campaign believes that he has a wide advantage over recognizing the name, Dugan accumulated the support of some of the deepest trade unions in the city and collected much more money than Krasner.
This financial pillow helped Dugan start broadcasting television broadcasts over two weeks ago, allowing him to have radio waves, because more voters will adapt to the race before the election day. So far, his campaign has spent over USD 200,000 on television advertising, in accordance with the company tracking Media Adimpact. Data expenses have not yet been available in the Krasner campaign.

The Dugan campaign is currently running two ads. The first presents Dugan to voters, describing him as a “real reformer” in a subtle stab at Krasner, a progressive, which is seen as a leader in the national prosecutor’s prosecutor’s movement.
The second advertisement contains Dugan, a more moderate democrat, suggesting that two -time Krasner is not human yet.
“I saw up close that our District Prosecutor does not introduce real reform or provides us with security,” says Dugan in this advertisement. “Now he wants us to believe that he can accept Trump?

Advertisements come when the assessments of Trump’s approval turned out and the chosen Democrats faced the call of voters to become an administration. Trump was a central figure in other campaigns, including throughout the country, watching the Governor of New Jersey.
Krasner has long been a loud critic of Trump and explained after the launch of his campaign that he intended to make the president of the core of his re -election offer. Krasner often said that he was a “lawyer of democracy” in addition to the district prosecutor and swore to use his prosecutor’s power to face the groups that in his opinion are marginalized by the administration.
The 30-second campaign advertisement contains headlines about how Krasner “protected democracy”, including the New York Times article about the lawsuit, which he submitted against Elon Musk, a billionaire of adviser to Trump. He does not mention that the claim was later thrown out by a judge.

ADVERTISEMENT also affects local problems, opening with the dwarf that he worked on lowering crime when the headline flashes on the screen about the falling point of killings in the city last year.
In Philadelphia, a record level of violence using weapons has been recorded in recent years, while Krasner was also in the position, but the city in 2024 experienced the largest annual decline in murder in at least 50 years. Lower indicators of shooting and killings continued this year.
