“I join Americans across the country in recognizing President Joe Biden’s extraordinary career of public service. I am proud to have worked with him and my colleagues in Congress to pass the largest infrastructure package in modern history, lower health care costs for seniors and working families, and defend democracy both at home and abroad. Joe Biden has been one of the most effective presidents of our time, and his patriotism and selflessness are an example to us all.”

As we reflect on his extraordinary accomplishments, it is time for us to unite on a steady and unified path forward—for all future generations of Americans who will be profoundly affected by the results of the November election. That is why I am proud to join the President and many of my colleagues in supporting Kamala Harris to be our next President. She is a talented and exceptional public servant, and I look forward to working with her.

I want to take a moment to thank the hundreds of dedicated voters who have reached out to me over the past few weeks to share their thoughts during this time of uncertainty. I continue to put their concerns at the forefront of every decision I make. As always, I will remain focused on doing the job I was elected to do, keeping my doors open to anyone in Pennsylvania’s 7th District who needs facilitate and working across party lines to make a difference for the American people. Rep. Susan Wild (R-07)

“Since President Biden took office, America has known that he is weakened and unfit for the rigors of the highest office in the land, let alone the grueling demands placed on him as leader of the free world. I deplore that the American people have ever been subjected to this. The democratic process of selecting a presidential candidate is being deliberately jettisoned — deliberately — for the sake of their power and power alone.” Scott Perry (R-10)

“I was surprised to learn that President Biden had ended his campaign, pushed back by Democratic Party elites as well as sensitive House and Senate members who saw their own political futures at risk by being associated with an executive director who was clearly not up to the task.” Glenn “GT” Thompson (R-15)

Blue background with text following the text: Joe Biden has offered this country decades of faithful service. As president, he has made this country safer, stronger, and more prosperous, and his election as president was central to the enduring promise of American democracy. He is the most pro-union president of my lifetime and has signed the most important legislation for veterans of my generation. I am proud to have served alongside President Biden in the fight for the common good, and I will continue to work with him and his administration to advance the good people of Western Pennsylvania.
