
Commissioner of Bucks and Democratic Candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania in the 1st district Bob Harvie He released his first campaign film on Wednesday, presenting the vision of his campaign to overtake Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick.
The campaign decided to release a film this week after Fitzpatrick along with other nine representatives of GOP Keystone State, voted in favor President Donald Trump “One, large beautiful bill,” which can have a negative impact on Bucks and Commonwealth.
“We need a congressman who will be there and fights for us,” he says in a 90-second film. “We need a congressman who will fight for the education of these children, we need a congressmen who will fight to protect social security and Medicare. We want a congressmen who will aid people build an American dream and continue to live this dream.
The film emphasizes Harvie’s roots in the district, his years of public service and his belief that a robust community depends on everyday people who approach the lead.
“Almost 10 years have passed when Brian Fitzpatrick was in Congress,” he says. “Ten years is a long time, especially when you don’t have much to show it. Ten years is long enough.”
Fitzpatrick won his fifth term in Washington with a 12-point victory against Ashley Ehasz in 2024
