Harrisburg, PA – May 5, 2025 – Today Senator James Malone was officially sworn in to represent the 36th district of the Senate in Pennsylvania in Lancaster. Senator Malone is the first democrat who won the election in the Senate of State in Lancaster for over 130 years.

“I consider it my call to stand in a gap between what people have and what they need,” he continued. “My voters told me directly what they need during the campaign. They need inexpensive apartments in which they work. They want fair funds for their public schools, so that their children can have a vivid future. And they want unthreatening, fit communities supported by well -responded first people.
