Dugan to challenge Krasner as a Republican in November

The former judge of the City Court Patrick Dugan announced on Saturday that he would throw district prosecutor Larry Krasner in parliamentary elections, after he lost the democratic base in May.

Dugan is a registered democrat, but will submit documents to appearing in November as a republican after GOP from Philadelphia organized a writing campaign to recruit him to continue running against Krasner.

“I can’t stand and let Mr. Krasner’s unsuccessful policy still be kept by our hostage of the city,” said Dugan in a message informing about his decision. “Every Philadelphin has a real choice this fall and I believe that they will stand with me for common sense and security.”

Dugan, who previously said that he would not run as a republican, did not immediately answer at the request for further comment.

In his press release, Dugan argued that “progress prosecutors”, like Krasner, lost the last campaigns in Baltimore and Allegheny’s unitwhich includes Pittsburgh and the surrounding communities. Progressive movement saw similar failures in the Middle West and California.

But Krasner, who is running for the third term, won decisively democratic democratic. He won the basic 2021 with a similar margin, because city murders were close to records.

Today, the offense indicator using violence in Philadelphia has dropped dramatically, although Dugan still sounded the message of the law and order in his announcement.

“Larry Krasner’s policy brought chaos to our city with raging lawlessness, drug trafficking in the open air and violent violence,” he said. “He practically legalized shop thefts, tolerated illegal firearms and included his eyes on women’s trade and poisoning of our communities.”

Two men led against each other about a scorching and antagonistic campaign, and this level of Vitriol was continued on Saturday Dugan ads.

“He abandoned countless crime victims,” said Dugan in a press release. “His lies, lack of honesty, lectures and philosophy” Letth Loose “failed us all.”

Krasner did not answer immediately at the request for comment.

Bob Brady, chairman of the Democratic Party Philadelphia, said that Dugan is a “total disgrace” for Dugan in universal elections.

“He has zero honesty. Zero,” Brady said, noting that Dugan’s earlier involvement does not act as a republican.

Brady said that Philadelphia Democratic Democratic Party supported Dugan in many races in many races. Running against a democratic candidate, Dugan turned away from the party to the “pure ego journey”.

“He is out of the party. He must register a republican,” said Brady. “It’s okay. I don’t need liars at our party.”

In choosing Brady, he is not worried about the chances of Krasner to defeat Dugan again in November, saying: “I don’t see the script that wins” and that “it will be nice to beat him.”

The leaders of republican troops and the people of the committee organized a campaign to Dugan during the basic, paving the way to appearing in voting in November.

But the judge’s campaign said in May that throughout his life Democrat had committed not to run as a republican in the event that he lost his basic dwarf.

Dugan earned over 6,000 republicans of written votes first, winning the party’s nomination. There was no republican candidate in May basic May.

According to the Department of State, Pennsylvania had until August 11 to 11 August to decide to pay a fee for notification or withdrawing from voting.

Republicans from Philadelphia hope that there is a sufficient number of Dugan of Democratic Main Voters, Independent and Republicans, that their novel universal election race nominated. This handbook worked in Baltimore and Pittsburgh, said Vincent J. Fenerty Jr., president of Philly Gop, in a statement.

Republican selected officials from Philadelphia celebrated Dugan’s announcement in statements.

“Larry Krasner’s release has always been the highest priority for me and for the north -eastern Philadelphia,” said Senator of State Joe Picozzi. “[Dugan] I have full support and I will stand with him to take our city with him. “

Representative of State Martin White said that “Dugan’s senseless approach to public security will no longer be more strongly resonated in the November election.”

In a telephone interview, Fenerta said he was “delighted” to find out about Dugan’s decision about launching as Republicans in universal elections.

“It was a very personal decision that he and his family had to make,” said Fenerty.

The chairman of the City Republican party said that he believes that Dugan could defeat the Krasner in autumn.

“This is a large mountain, but it is possible to achieve,” said Fenerty.
