
Montgomeryville, Pa. – May 22, 2025 – Senator Maria Collett (D-12 Montgomery) accepted hundreds of community members in his annual Senior Expo On Friday, May 16 at Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center.
“Every Pennsylvanian deserves access to tools needed for life and aging with dignity,” said Senator Collett, a democratic chairman of the Senate Aging & Youth Committee. “I was excited, seeing that so many neighbors come to our exhibitions to take advantage of the available resources – from free health research to the help of services, social programming and more.”
This year’s exhibitions have appeared more than 55 local and state suppliers – including non -profit organizations, local legislative offices, insurance groups, service providers and not only – who offered participants a variety of selection of resources, tools and services.
Participants enjoyed refreshments donated by 7-Eleven at 791 Horsham Road in North Wales and Wawa community program programand received free Covid-19, RSV, shingles and pneumonia vaccines served by Eric’s Rx Shoppe.
“I am grateful to our amazing suppliers and hosts at the Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center for the partnership in supporting aging adults in our community,” added Senator Collett. “I am looking forward to advising Pennsylvania and their priorities when I come back to Harrisburg in June.”
