
US representative Donald Norcross, South Jersey Democrat, was hospitalized on Sunday in North Carolina, when he suffered a “rescue medical event, probably associated with his gallbladder,” said his congress staff on Monday.
Norcross, which represents the 1st Congress District, which includes all Camden and part of Burlington and Gloucester, he traveled when the “medical event in the ranking” took place, His staff said.
The 66-year-old from Camden was admitted to the UNC Rex hospital on Sunday and was replaced in a stable condition.
