I just follow it and pass it on because it’s so weird.
Earlier this week, in an email, Pennsylvania Democratic Party officials sent out a fairly standard plea urging donors to dip into their pockets and lend a hand pass the $34.1 billion budget plan that Gov. Tom Wolf introduced to a joint session of the House of Representatives . and the Senate.
“They say you should “put your money where your values are.” This is exactly what the Democrats’ modern budget proposal does,” the email said. “If passed, our plan would raise the minimum wage and invest more than ever in teachers, schools and job training. However, we need your support for this.”
Now here’s the weird part.
In an email asking donors add just $4 to “help pass the most progressive budget in years.” He seems humble enough. This too “I drive a blue Jeep to work.” for words.
But …
Click takes them to the regular ActBlue donation page where, of course, donors can donate yeah over $4 to lend a hand Lupine the budget crossed the finish line.
We’ll look forward to the inevitable TV commercials and direct mail packages that $4 (and much more) will lend a hand cover.
