National Electoral Worker Recruitment Day is national day of action established by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) in 2020 to inspire civic engagement and encourage people to register to be poll workers. August 1, 2024, National Poll Worker Recruitment Day is intended to address the ongoing need for poll worker registration ahead of the November general election to help Americans vote and strengthen our democracy.
