Montgomeryville, PA – May 20, 2024 − On Friday, May 17, Senator Maria Collett (D-12 Montgomery) hosted her Spring Break Senior Exhibition at the City of Montgomery Community and Recreation Center.
“As a nurse and chair of the Senate Democratic Committee on Aging and Youth, I know how important it is that older Pennsylvanians have access to the services they need to live and age with dignity.” – said Senator Collett. “I was thrilled to see so many community members join us at our Senior Expo and connect with a wide range of resources – from the local library to major healthcare systems, transportation, charities and more.”
During the Expo, over 300 participants examined Over 55 suppliers — including local nonprofits, other local legislative offices, insurance groups, county and state organizations, and more — offering a diverse set of tools and services.
Participants enjoyed refreshments provided by the 7-eleven store at 791 Horsham Road in North Wales and Wawa community donation programand received free vaccinations for Covid-19, RSV and shingles from Eric’s RX Shop.
Collet added: “I am grateful to our excellent vendors and generous hosts at the Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center for ensuring our aging population thrives.”
