
Philadelphia, January 16, 2025 – State Senator Christine Tartaglione (D-2) is proud to announce her committee assignments for the 2025-2026 legislative session. In addition to his duties as Democratic Whip, Senator Tartaglione will serve as Democratic Chair of the Senate Committee on Intergovernmental Operations and as a member of the Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensing, the Committee on Labor and Industry, Law and Justice, the Committee on Executive Rules and Nominating, and the Ethics Committee.
“I am honored to take on these roles, which allow me to advocate for fairness, safety and opportunity for Pennsylvanians,” said Senator Tartaglione. “Each of these committees focuses on issues that impact our everyday lives – from protecting consumers and workers to ensuring good governance and public safety. I am energized by the work ahead and ready to get started.”
As Democratic Chair of Intergovernmental Operations, Senator Tartaglione will lead efforts to streamline government operations, escalate transparency, and strengthen the Commonwealth’s partnerships with federal and local entities. Her continued membership on the Committee on Labor and Industry reflects her lifelong commitment to advancing workers’ rights, workplace safety and economic equality.
Senator Tartaglione has represented the 2nd Senatorial District since 1995 and continues to be a tireless advocate for the people of his district and all Pennsylvanians.
