Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate, will spend the last full day of the 2024 campaign in Pennsylvania – a state that will likely decide the outcome of the election with its 19 electoral votes.
According to the campaign, Harris will begin the day with a campaign kickoff event in Scranton. She will then deliver a speech at a rally at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, where she will be joined by rapper Fat Joe and singer Frankie Negron, both of Puerto Rican descent. Both the Harris campaign and the GOP candidate, former President Donald Trump, have tried to court Latino voters, and Allentown is Pennsylvania’s largest city with a majority Latino population.
The Trump campaign continues to face backlash following the comedian’s remarks made racist jokes about Puerto Rico during his October 28 rally at Madison Square Garden.
Although campaign surrogates, including second gentleman Doug Emhoff, have campaigned in Allentown, today will be Harris’ campaign’s first stop this cycle.

After leaving Allentown, Harris heads to Pittsburgh, where a previously scheduled rally at Point State Park was moved to Carrie’s blast furnaces after the Secret Service reportedly raised security concerns. Harris will be joined at the Pittsburgh rally by Emhoff, as well as singers Katy Perry and Andra Day and DJ D-Nice. Pittsburgh Public Schools are operating on a half-day schedule, and Allegheny County and City of Pittsburgh employees will be dismissed at noon Monday, and Harris and Trump will be in Pittsburgh tonight.
On Monday at 10 a.m. in Harrisburg, Gov. Josh Shapiro and actors Robert DeNiro and Sam Waterston will hold a campaign rally in front of the Capitol
Harris will end the barnstorming in the Keystone State with a rally outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art starting around 11 p.m. Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, The Roots and Oprah Winfrey are scheduled to join Harris in Philadelphia.
