In a memo shared with PoliticsPA, the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC) said it is focusing resources and attention on Pennsylvania and 19 races that will impact the election outcome.
DLCC has identified 15 state House races and four more in the state Senate that could change the course of Pennsylvania politics. Democrats in the House hold a one-seat majority, 102-101, while Republicans maintain a 28-22 edge in the state Senate.
In the note, Heather WilliamsDLCC President, says, “As the national party committee tasked with assessing opportunities and resources at the state legislative level, DLCC has finalized our Spotlight races in the most competitive target states for November. We are focusing on states where legislative majorities are at stake – including defending hard-fought Democratic majorities and breaking vulnerable GOP majorities – in Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona and New Hampshire.”
