“Soccer is a global sport that has united communities for generations, and now Downtown Allentown and the Lehigh Valley will finally have their own team with the arrival of our first professional MASL franchise,” he said Senator Nick Miller. “As we approach the 2026 World Cup and the America250 competition, this milestone positions our region to capitalize on new economic opportunities, from increased local activity in downtown Allentown to job creation in the coming years. I am proud to share this historic moment and look forward to our community filling the PPL Center to cheer on our new hometown team.”
