PA-03: Rebound numbers place candidates at competitive levels

The race for the Democratic nomination for the 3rd Congressional District is underway Representative Dwight Evans things are starting to heat up with the release of Q4 collection numbers.

Q4 data often shows how effectively (or not) candidates are selling their message to donors. This can be measured by the number of individual donors. It can be measured by the contributions of labor organizations or other political action committees. Either way, it certainly split a gigantic field into competitive levels in February.

State Senator Sharif Streetson of the former mayor of Philadelphia Jana Streettops the list after raising $348,487.28 in a campaign that has just north of $525,000. The former AP Democratic chairman contributed about $700,000 for the election cycle.

In terms of sheer number of contributions, a political novice Dr. Unfortunately, Stanford posted the largest amount, $467,227.92, although a pediatric surgeon personally loaned her $250,000 for the campaign. He has the second-largest amount in the bank – $392,037.33.

Dr. Dave Oxman balmy on Stanford’s heels with $356,998.72 on hand. The intensive care unit doctor has raised $108,479.53 and is also helping with self-funding by providing a $75,000 loan to his campaign.

A pair of state representatives – Morgan Cephas AND Chris Rabb – may not have the same opportunities as Stanford or Oxman to finance their campaigns. Cephas, who represents the 192nd Legislative District in the AP House, earned $85,310 and has a six-figure sum of $108,657.57 in the bank. Rabb, who represents the 200th District, had a stronger Q$, with $126,690.57 in, but spent a surprising $280,970.62. He has $98,721.11 on hand.

One of the biggest surprises in the period from October 1 to December 31 was the band’s performance Pablo McConnie-Saadcampaign. Rarely recognized by experts as a top candidate, the former Biden Treasury employee earned $119,221.25 while spending a windfall of $50,402.81. McConnie-Saad in the first quarter of 2026 will be $68,818.44.

Four other Democratic candidates also filed their reports. Cole Cartersenior software engineer, earned a nearly six-figure sum of $95,947, but only spent $11,216.14 of that total. Karl Morrisprofessor of computer science, raised just under $12,000 with $16,287.32 in hand. Jahmiel Jacksonthe youngest candidate for Congress in the country (24 years senior), has secured contributions of $15,368.83, but has less than $6,500 for work. AND Robin Toldens stated that her campaign did not raise or spend $5,000 in the fourth quarter.

Alex Quickendorsed Republican candidate, recently filed paperwork with the FEC, while the other announced the Republican Party candidate, Sheila Armstrongstated that her campaign did not raise or spend $5,000 in the fourth quarter.
