PolitykaPA hosts the PA-03 Congress Forum

HARRISBURG, Pa. – January 13, 2026 – On Monday, February 9, PoliticsPA will host the first-ever congressional forum in Philadelphia in partnership with the Center City Residents Association (CCRA) and sister news site PhillyDaily, where candidates for the 3rd Congressional District will discuss the day’s issues at 7 p.m. at Trinity Church at Rittenhouse Square.

The Third District covers several areas of Philadelphia – America’s sixth-largest city – including West Philadelphia, most of downtown and parts of North Philadelphia.

Twelve candidates, including Democrats, threw their hats into the PA-03 ring State Senator Sharif Street, State Representative Chris Rabb, State Representative Morgan Cephas, Dr. Dave Oxman, Dr. Unfortunately, Stanford, Karl Morris, Cole Carter, Jahmiel Jackson, Pablo McConnie-Saad, Isaiah Martin, Robin Toldensand republican Sheila Armstrong.

Candidates vying to replace Representative Dwight Evanswho announced his retirement from the US House of Representatives at the end of this term. Evans was elected to the position in a 2016 special election after decades as a Pennsylvania state representative.

The forum is expected to last approximately 90 minutes and will feature candidates who have registered the highest number of available fundraisers and the highest number available in public polls.

PoliticsPA and PhillyDaily, both operated by Fideri News Network, will simulcast the event on the network’s local newscasts, radio and multimedia platforms.
