It’s Election Day 2025, and here are the contests we’re paying close attention to as the day progresses.
1. PA Supreme Court Retention
Will be Christina Donohue, Kevin DoughertyAND David Wecht receive another 10-year appointment to the state’s highest court. It is one of the most watched competitions in the country.
2. PA Supreme Court
Who will fill the vacancy in the 15-member court – Brandon Neuman, Mary the Baptist Or Daniel Wassmer? There was also a vote on maintaining the ballot for another 10-year term Alice Beck Dubow.
3. PA Commonwealth Court
Who will fill the vacancy in the 9-person body – Stella Tsai Or Matt Wolford“There will also be a vote on whether to keep the ballot for another 10-year term Michał H. Wójcik.
4. Mayor of Pittsburgh
Democrat Corey O’Connor appears to be in the driver’s seat in the fight against Republicans Tony Moreno but it’s not over until all the votes are cast.
5. District Attorney of Philadelphia
Incumbent Democrat Larry Krasner defeated Patrick Dugan in the primary election, but Judge received enough write-in votes for the Republican Party to challenge her in the general election.
