Prosecutor
The Prosecutor General in Pennsylvania supervises hundreds of employees divided into criminal, civil and public protection divisions.
The Act on lawyers of the Nations Community provides for the basic responsibilities of the office, which include prosecution of crimes, from drug trafficking to public corruption, directing great jury, defense of state provisions and representing Pennsylvania, if the state is controlled or federally prosecuted.
The official mission of the office is to protect “life, property and constitutional and consumer rights to ensure the safety and freedom to people living and visiting the community.”
The Prosecutor General is also on the board of pardon and appoints a lawyers’ lawyer.

Five candidates are fighting for a democratic nomination to the Prosecutor General. The position was recently perceived as a stepping stone to the governor’s residence as both Josh Shapiro AND Tom Corbett He served as AG before taking a managerial position.
