
State of Pennsylvania Dream. Sharif Street (D-D-Miladelphia) officially announced that he was a candidate for a democratic nomination for the third mandate of the Congress.

Street said in a recorded movie on YouTube that Pennsylvania needs leadership, which can only be found by understanding its community.
“Listen, people are fucking by Republicans in Washington, who focus more on helping their billionaire to friends to pay less taxes than providing people they represent,” he said. “This is not the leadership for this. There is a lack of someone who knows our communities and puts us in the first place. Someone who understands what it means to live here and fight for real results.”
He continued, saying that he wanted to ensure that the sixth largest city in America takes place at the table.
“In Congress I will do what I have always done, making sure that Philadelphia takes place at the table and fighting for investments that we need in our schools, septa, local hospitals, safe communities and problems related to ordinary people.”
Street, who represents North Philly, was elected to the State Senate in 2016, becoming the first Muslim person chosen to be the Keystone chamber. From 2022, he has been the chairman of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party.
A graduate of Morehouse (Ga.) College, received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and concentration in finance. After graduating, he won JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School in 1999.
