July 1, 2025 – Today, Senator Pennsylvania Vincent Hughes, chairman of the Democratic Senate, issued the following statement in response to the adoption of the “large, beautiful account” of President Trump in the US Senate. If the legislation now undergoes in the American Chamber of Representatives, Republicans managed to receive health care from 17 million Americans and over 500,000 Pennsylvania, which gives a reduction in tax to the richest Americans and adding over $ 4 trillion of domestic debt.
Senator Hughes said:
“No state has the ability to take billions of cuts that are included in this account.
Each US senator who voted for this bill has no respect for the health of Americans or anyone who is not a millionaire or billionaire. As Pennsylvania’s democratic club said, these cuts will be felt in communities throughout our community. If this enormous, bad bill goes through the house, we will see closed hospitals, children without food, lost jobs and decimated state budgets. The wounded account will be caused by every republican who voted for it.
While the US Senate has failed us today, people can continue to take action.
Every American should reach for his congressman and appear in his offices to inform him that we do not want these cuts. Americans should also notice a great “F” for the record of every legislator who voted in favor of destroying the lives of people with this enormous, ugly bill. “
