“I’m enraged, I’m worried and I have a broken heart for the people I represent. My district has more medicaid recipients than any other in Pennsylvania. These are working families, seniors, people with disabilities – people are trying to survive. And now 50 US senators and vice president voted for their care and food.
This bill is cruel. He risks life and threatens to push the whole community to the crisis. I don’t know how some of my voters get the care you need, if it gets the law, but I know about it: I will fight.
I call every Pennsylvania to speak. Call your representatives and make your voice heard. We cannot accept the future in which the most vulnerable among us is treated as expenses. “
