Who is Kevin Joseph Krebs, who went heavily armed on the “No Kings” West Chester rally? This is complicated.

When Kevin Krebs was arrested this month for bringing weapons and ammunition to the “No Kings” rally in West Chester – then he registered two days later after the police found a supply of home bombs in his house – Hot Orages conducted a political range.

“The police in Pennsylvania stopped one of these madmen from the harm” protesting “no Kings”, he read heading From the post on the Esquire blog, who compared Krebs to the insurgents on January 6 and blamed President Donald Trump for enabling “anti -government madmen” to “acting in the open space”.

Kate Collins, a clerk from teenage republicans of Chester, who has a enormous Facebook, the following, wrote that Krebs was instead of the liberal brain washing by the media.

“This happens when the media, politicians and activists pose a lie that the country is besieged by the magic,” said Collins.

This Facebook post immediately gave birth to the next round of theory radically, and local Democrats and Republicans insisted that Krebs be a member of the other party:

One of the commentators described him as a “raging liberals” who planned to shoot Trump’s supporters opposing the protest, citing a neighbor. Another counted that Krebs “had represented the magician since 2020”, citing Post on Instagram in August 2020, which shows Krebs in the “Trump Train” hat.

So who is Kevin Joseph Krebs?

The 31-year-old licensed electrician from Malvern is registered as a democrat. But just a few months ago, as they show that he was a republican.

Krebs voted for Trump, he wrote on Reddit in February. But soon he began to regret it, he wrote after “Elon Musk entered and began to look everything.”

The District Prosecutor of the Function Chester Chris de Barrena-Sarobe said at a press conference that investigators are still trying to determine whether Krebs’ arrest was a “thwarted act of internal terrorism.” The prosecutor said that the case does not necessarily match existing political narratives.

“This arrest is not something that can be distinguished to post in social media,” he said. “It cannot be introduced into a short film that feeds us online.”

Barrena-Sarobe also noticed that Krebs’ family told investigators that he was in the spectrum of autism.

“This is a unique case,” he said. “He has a lot of nuances.”

An online portrait of a drifting man

Studying Krebs’ activities in social media-especially Reddit accounts with the same username and profile photo as Krebs account on Instagram-shows how a former Home Depot employee in recent months from conversations about home projects to violent rhetoric addressed to Trump and policemen.

For example, in weeks from the inauguration of Trump, Krebs wrote that “he will consider using physical force and/or sabotage” if Musk or Trump tried to reduce social insurance payments for parents or if Trump’s administration began to “complete trans person and LGBTQ and send them to … Guantanamo bay”.

(Krebs wrote in 2023 to Reddit that he left as a gay two weeks before shooting at the Pulse Night Club in Orlando in Orlando, and began to wear a weapon after the shooting).

In March, Krebs wrote that if Trump caused the act on the uprising: “I believe that we should be created and start a revolution.” In the ominous control commentary published a few minutes later he wrote: “If he says he would like to be a king, he can be a king, but he will be treated like the Irish, an American revolutionary, and the French treated their kings.”

As part of the “No Kings” protest, Krebs also shot against the police.

For example, on June 10, in response to a reddit film showing,

Commenting on the previous post from Seattle in R/MarchagainStnazisSubreddit, Krebs wrote: “ACAB [All Cops Are Bastards]. Oink Oink Piggy. “This comment received almost 300 reviews.

Recently, Krebs seemed interested in Irish republicanism, returning to World War I and the Irish Republican Army, from the techniques of creating bombs of the former paramilitary organization to fashion elections.

At Reddit, he often raised IRA and armed conflict in Ireland. For example, he answered a video about washing the oars in Mexico, writing that “the US officially fell into fascism and quickly slip into the script of the Civil War, which may be worse than [T]Rubles. ”

On “Hands away!” The protest in Washington in April Krebs published his photo in a camouflaged shirt and Black Balaklavie, waving Flag of the Irish Republic Floating by the rebels over the post in Dublin during the Easter East in 1916.

He also asked about paramilitary training at the Subreddit Association of Socialist Shooters.

Krebs has no history of a crime using violence, as follows from the files.

In November 2020, Jerrold Czech Jr., then an officer from Pennsylvania Game, accused Krebs of a summary crime after he confronted him with the dead deer along the road in Delaware.

“I thought,” It’s strange, “Czech said on Wednesday. “He wasn’t even a hunter. I didn’t have a hunt before, he didn’t have a license.”

The Czech remembered that Krebs, who later pleaded guilty for violating wild nature and paid a fine, was polite, and said that he simply did not know the law.

“He just seemed eccentric or something like that,” said the Czech. “Like a little special.”

Heavily armed with a protest

It seems that Krebs took with him the flag of the Republic of Ireland to the protest “No Kings” in West Chester on June 14, according to the film of his arrest. (The flag is on the left side of the video that contains a thick tongue).

When the police confronted with Krebs, they found him wearing a loaded Sig Sauer pistol without permission to have a hidden entity, along with bayonet, pepper spray and other weapons. The authorities also gave several ammunition magazines for a assault -style rifle, which was in his car.

When the police searched his house on Monday, they found 13 handmade tubular bombs, along with components used to create detonators as well as tactical vests and armor resistant to bullets, according to court documents.

Some bombs were filled with nails and screws and it seemed that they were assembled using metal pipes and other household elements, the investigators claim. Krebs had a total of 21 pistols.

It is detained without a deposit on charge that include having a weapon of mass destruction, causing a disaster, reckless threat and related crimes.

The sources of law enforcement agencies know this week that it is not clear what were the motifs of Krebs to build explosives and accumulate weapon’s cache. There was no indication that he was part of any extremist groups or had direct plans to use pipe bombs.

Krebs’ lawyers and relatives did not ask for a comment.
