1. The Trump administration did not charge Democrats involved in the “illegal orders” video.

“The Trump administration sought to impeach Democratic lawmakers on Tuesday over a video calling on members of the armed forces and intelligence services to disobey unlawful orders, three sources familiar with the matter told NBC News.

Six Democrats participated in the video, and some said they would not cooperate with a Justice Department investigation into their involvement.

The indictment is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, which is headed by a Trump appointee Jeanine Pirrois the latest example of the Justice Department’s attacks on the president’s alleged political opponents.” | NBC News
